By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with this policy.

MerchIQ provides tools for creating, managing, and selling merchandise. This policy exists to ensure the Service is used responsibly, securely, and in compliance with applicable laws.

Platform Abuse and Security Violations

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data
  • Circumventing security measures, rate limits, or usage restrictions
  • Introducing malware, viruses, or malicious code
  • Scraping, crawling, or harvesting data without authorization

API and Automation Abuse

  • Exceeding documented rate limits without approval
  • Creating excessive stores, products, assets, or API applications to bypass limits
  • Using automation to degrade service performance or stability
  • Sharing API credentials or access tokens outside your organization

Misuse of Infrastructure

  • Using the Service primarily as a file-hosting, CDN, or storage platform
  • Uploading excessively large, unnecessary, or non-commerce-related assets
  • Generating disproportionate load unrelated to legitimate business use

Payment and Financial Abuse

  • Attempting to bypass platform fees or billing mechanisms
  • Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods
  • Creating accounts to evade payment obligations or enforcement actions

MerchIQ may impose limits on:

Products & SKUs

API request rates

Feature access by tier

You may not attempt to circumvent these limits without explicit written authorization.

Enforcement

MerchIQ reserves the right to take appropriate action if this policy is violated, including:

  • Warning or notice of violation
  • Temporary suspension of features or access
  • Rate limiting or throttling
  • Removal of content or assets
  • Suspension or termination of accounts or stores
  • Reporting unlawful activity to authorities when required

Enforcement decisions are made at MerchIQ's discretion.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Relationship to Other Policies

This policy supplements the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of a conflict, the Terms of Service shall prevail.
